Awestruck and moved

Last week I witnessed a close family member graduate from drug court.  What struck me the most wasn't that he was a sinner, that he overcame the tedious requirements of probation, or even that he developed a relationship with Jesus through it all.  I was truly awestruck and moved by how proud of his testimony he was.

Not only had he invited countless family and friends to watch his graduation, but he had inspired those yet to graduate from drug court, his probation officers, the judge, and even his arresting officer!

He realized that being arrested and going through drug court was God's grace and ultimately saved his life from the path of addiction, sin and death that he was on.  Hitting rock bottom helped him see God's grace, receive His free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, and finally turn from his sin.  He's now following Jesus and encouraging others with his story.

Hopefully none of us have an addiction to drugs.  But we do have one thing in common: we are all sinners and desperately need God's grace and salvation through Jesus.  This priceless gift is free and available to everyone, but YOU have to make the choice to receive it.  Don't wait another minute, choose Jesus as your Lord and Savior today!
